lanthorn Brand identity system

Lanthorn Technologies was a tech startup in Boston, working in the electricy and utilites space. They wanted a moderm, unique logo that represented their Boston roots, innovation and their business vertical. The name 'Lanthorn' is old English for lantern, playing homage to Boston's history and Paul Revere's famous ride by the light of the latern. The mark is an abstract representation of a pathway and the light cast by a swaying lantern. The mark and custom-drawn logotype satisfied the brief and also added a sense of motion, professionalism and friendliness.
